Screen Printing

Screen Printing a.k.a Silk Screen is a technique that involves using a woven mesh screen to support an ink-blocking stencil to receive a desired image. It is the most economical and preferred method for top quality printing for large number of order.

The screen stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials, by pressing through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate.

A squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing ink through the mesh openings to wet the substrate during the squeegee stroke. As the screen rebounds away from the substrate, the ink remains. Basically it is the process of using a mesh-based stencil to apply ink onto a substrate.

Additional Info

  • It is multi stage process and initial set up are expensive.
  • One colour is printed at a time, so several screens need to be used to produce a multicoloured image or design.
  • The process of the pressing the ink into the fabric increases the longevity of the design.
  • Silk Screen is a versatile printing process which allows easy transfer of the images and logos on the multiple set of items such as mugs, tote bags, banners etc.
Embroidery Machineembroidery

Embroidery

Embroidery is the process of converting existing artwork into a stitch file that embroidery machine can sew on a garment. And it looks really good on corporate uniform, polo shirt, shirt, caps, sweatshirts, jackets and bags.

Contemporary embroidery is stitched with a computerized embroidery machine using patterns digitized with embroidery software. Firstly, your design is setup with a special file format called a DST file. This file tells the machines exactly how your embroidery designs should be done to ensure a perfect finish.

After the file has been sent to the machine, the garments are then fixed into place using a special support, which clamps the about-to-be-embroidered area of the garment so it is tight and will not move. This is called framing.

Finally, thread colours are added to the machine and the design is stitched onto the garment. Generally, all embroidered are carried out using polyester embroidery threads due to its vibrant, rich colors and luxurious finish. Moreover, they are resistant to chlorine bleach which ensures long-term wear and lasting color.

Additional Info

  • Quality Image.
  • Long Lasting.
  • Multi colors at no additional cost.
  • Costs more than Printing – Expensive for large logos.
  • Embroidery cannot be used where a graduated colour effect is required.
  • Difficult to recreate small text legibly.

Sublimation Printing

An exclusive printing technique that allow of personalized and customized images onto a wide variety of polyester and microfiber materials. It enable you to create, manage, and deliver visually rich products by harnessing the power of digital printing.

Sublimation is the process of transferring dye to a fabric using heat. The images and graphics are printed on special paper placed on the garment and heat is applied, allowing the ink to become part of the fabric. This will leave you with a more breathable, soft-hand feel to the fabric. The best part is that unlike heat Trasnfer printing, the numbers, letters and graphics do not peel, wear off, or come out in the wash!

Sublimation is a great process that allows for vibrant, full color and all-over prints.

Creative Catchy Printing!

Additional Info

  • Cost will be high for smaller run.
  • Sublimation heat transfer is suitable for polyester fabric only.
  • Unlimited colors with no added cost.

Heat Transfer Printing

A popular yet most simple technique for printing is Heat Transfer!!

It is the process of transferring the images onto the garment under high heat and pressure using a special type of ink and transfer paper. where the papers only purpose is to “hold” the image until it is placed on the target substrate(T-shirt, Bag, Caps…)

Heat Press Printing also known as Iron-on heat transfers, it is suitable for printing full color pictures or multi colored graphics which includes tone graphics at low costs for small quantities.

The printing process usually takes 5 minutes or less to complete the printing. Furthermore, it works well on almost every fabric including polyester and cotton.

Additional Info

  • Small quantity runs allow customers to get their items faster.
  • Software allows graphics to be altered with unlimited options.
  • Large quantity runs are expensive and time consuming
  • Prints fade after several washes and do not last long.
  • Prints are stiff, making the fabric firm
  • Prints appear best on light colored t-shirts.
